Who this covers

This policy covers anchortechs.org (this site) and the products Anchor Technologies operates: Anchor Cloud (anchorcloud.org) and Anchor AI (chatai.anchorcloud.org).

What we collect

• Account data: email address, display name, and a hashed password (we never store your password in plain text).
• File metadata: for Anchor Cloud, we store file name, size, MIME type, upload date and a hash of the encrypted content — never the decrypted content itself. See our security page for detail.
• Chat history: for Anchor AI, we store your conversation history so it can be shown back to you across sessions. We do not use it to train models without separately telling you first.
• Contact form / email: if you email us or use the contact form on this site, we keep that correspondence to respond to you and for our own records.
• Basic technical logs: IP address and request logs kept briefly for security and abuse prevention, not for tracking or advertising.

What we don't collect

• We do not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers on this site.
• We cannot and do not access the decrypted contents of your Anchor Cloud files.

How we use it

To operate the products, respond to you, secure accounts against abuse, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties except where a product feature explicitly requires it (e.g. sending an email through our mail provider) or where the law requires it.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to delete your account and associated data, or ask questions about what we hold, by emailing [email protected]. We'll respond directly.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date above and, where the change is significant, notify account holders directly.
